Auravelle is designed to give an otherwise practical surface a clear visual centre. The upward sweep guides the eye through the display while the open middle prevents the sculpture from becoming a heavy block. That balance makes it useful on a narrow console, a low media unit or a shelf where several smaller objects already need breathing room.
The piece can also help connect unlike materials within one room.
